Pilots,
Three releases have landed since the last Flight Log. Your ship handles differently, the economy has changed, and for the first time we are asking you what you think - and paying you for the answer.Polls are live
In the free gift section you will now find, from time to time, a gift tied to a short Poll. Three questions about the game. Answer them, take the reward.![]() |
We would rather hear it from you than guess. What is confusing, what is missing, what you would change, what you would build next. The pilots who have been flying here for months know things about this game that we do not. Be blunt in them. We are not fishing for compliments.
Every planet now has its real gravity
Until this week the gravity your ship fought on a descent was not the gravity of the body you were descending to. Now it is. Every planet has its correct G value, and cruise uses it. Landing on Mars is not landing on the Moon, and neither is landing on Earth. If you have flown here before, expect some of your habits to be wrong. The Q and V keys changed too: they now ramp progressively up to your ship's maximum G, over the same amount of time whatever that maximum is. No more instant full thrust. It behaves the way a throttle should behave, and it rewards planning the burn instead of stamping on it.Cruising is a skill now rather than a procedure. Sixty seconds of it, landing at the Mars headquarters:

HQ prices now move with stock
If you have been away, this is the biggest thing you missed. Each headquarters now prices by how full its shelves are. An empty HQ sells to you at 150% of list and buys from you at 75%. A full one sells at 100% and buys at 50%, as before. Everything in between scales smoothly. Which means carrying cargo between headquarters is now worth money. Buy where the shelves are full, sell where they are empty. With a 100% trading bonus a run nets up to 50%.![]() |
Industry: a cap on how many jobs a pilot can run
Each pilot can now run one job per level of the ability that job requires. A pilot with level 3 in an ability can run three jobs that need it. And jobs that need the same ability share that cap, even when they are different kinds of job. Two job types drawing on the same ability do not get a cap each - they draw from the same pool. You will notice this one. Levelling the ability is what raises the ceiling.A simpler way in
New pilots arriving as guests now start in a Simple view, with three interactive tutorials waiting instead of a wall of options, and a new Plan page where every option is explained rather than hidden in a menu.![]() |
And the rest
Venture depots now appear when you choose a landing site. Auto-landing on Earth is always available. Alien alerts have moved out of the public chat into the event log. Mission lists collapse per pilot. Every widget on the map toolbar finally has a tooltip. And a bug that was quietly stopping some new guests from logging in at all is fixed. The universe has been running since January and has never been reset. Your ships are where you left them.Come and fly
