VENTURES the best way to explore together!
Ventures are like virtual companies inside the simulation that can be created by the users, in order to join the efforts for the space exploration and colonization. In the venture page, accessed by the main menù under assetts, you can see all the vetures already created or you can create your own:
So, Ventures are users-run organizations where they can collaborate, share resources, and work toward common goals.
Creating a Venture
Start your own company by providing:
1. Venture name and description
2. Logo (selected from available designs)
3. Main office location (you have to chose among the existing Headquarters locations)
4. The max members allowes: this will imact on the creation cost and can be changes later. We suggest to start small and grow it later
5. The founder can decide how many Shares the company has at the beginning and the value in UNc for each share.
6. Also the founder has to deposit a minimum starting capital of 1000 0Gc
Joining a Venture
Browse existing ventures, chose one that you like and press the "Apply" button to submit an application. Directors and above can review and accept your application. Be sure to specify why you would be a great addition for that Venture.
Your Venture's page
Once you joined a Venture you can enter his page where you can access to several dedicated services.
You can see here: the list of members on the left of the page, the list of starbases owned and a dedicated chat page.
Only Ventures can create Starbases (see the dedicated help for that).
Member Roles (Hierarchy)
Note that each member can be assigned a different role with different capabilities:
- Explorer: Entry-level member, limited access
- Manager: Can access to most of the venture services and starbases
- Director: Can accept/reject applications and manage lower roles
- CEO: Full management authority
- Founder: Ultimate control (cannot be removed)
- Only Directors and above can accept new member applications
- Role changes only affect members below your own rank
- Leave a venture anytime (except Founders)
Venture Chat
Real-time communication with your venture members. Chat history is preserved (last 1000 messages) so you never miss important discussions.
Venture Capital
Ventures maintain their own treasury in both Universal Credits (UNc) and Zero-G Credits (0Gc). Leaders can manage funds for group activities.
