Managing Your Pilots
Pilots are your agents, explorers, builders, fighter…. in the Zero-G universe. Each pilot can operate ships, complete missions, and interact with the world independently.
At the beginning you are given one random pilot that you can use for free.
You can hire additional pilots in any HQ that has an HR service. At the moment you can have a maximum of 8 pilots. Each additional pilot will cost you double the previous one.
Clicking on a pilot icon or the "Manage" button in the pilot page will open the pilot modal details page:
You can see there are many pilot stats, the level, experience, bonuses etc....
At the moment only the Bonuses are implemented, the experience instead is gained through missions but not yet used, same for the physical statistics of the pilot.
In the pilot page you can see the full list of your pilots at glance, where they are and their bonuses. If you click on the location the map will open with that pilot centered and selected.
Having multiple pilots allows you to:
- Operate multiple ships simultaneously
- Cover different regions of space
- Specialize pilots for different activities (mining, combat, trading)
etc...
- Each pilot remembers their last position and ship
- Pilot stats affect mining rates, combat effectiveness, and scanning speed
- Medals earned are per-pilot achievements
